Great Mazinga! This game has everything even radioactive food! What more could a nihilist ask for?
Love the Eye Bots roaming the desolate hatred filled wrecked cities giving a sense of comforting security like a television at home. They must be great propaganda tools for spreading..the word. Nice Yankee Doodle music they’re playing there
I wonder if it will change when calling in the enemy to acttack for more dramatic biblical effect and if the player can add their own music etc.
Dont know what the big deal is about censoring the game in Australia due to drug use considering there are some pretty heavy realistic consequences when using them.
Great how one can take control of weapons on the field like the enemy turrets by trying to get into a nearby computer terminal which controls it.
Devastating vehicle explosion near the end of the video. Hurtful looking flame effect with a great fading smoke afterwards. Nice how its triggered and that not every car is explodeable.
Sound effects are great with body impact having a realistic thud to it. So far nothing that sounds annoying or headache inducing like some of the elemental effects in OBLIVION did with their door slamming like boom!
Pip Boy Map looks huge and with 100 hours of gameplay this is definitely going to be a “I am there” experiance.
Great news that there will be fast travel included. That will keep the fun factor high when short on “real life” time and wanting to get some gameplay in.
Pretty cool how the enemy can do locational body damage on the player with the player feeling the effects like limping, bad aim and concussion effects til they heal themselves or get to a doctor. That adds a ton of new strategic variables.
Level scaling sounds perfect with some areas being more difficult to survive in then others. That Mystery Man Perk i heard about in the other Demo preview should come in handy in those areas once in awhile
Thanks for another irrisitable attention drawing preview with a more rpg descriptive angle this time. This is gonna be a great fall and winter with shades of a cold 1990s winter playing TERMINATOR FUTURE SHOCK ![]()
Nice explosion!
I was not quite satisfied with the answer on the multiplayer question. It sounded as if Todd thought people demand deathmatch options and so on. Yeah, I do not see anything that would add much to a game if just PvP Multiplayer was integrated.
Hower I had the experience that Cooperative gaming, brings the experience to a whole new level. Of course it would affect the game dynamics (no time freeze when checking your computer and all that stuff) but I cannot see why it should be impossible or too hard. I remember hearing/reading demands for (cooperative or not) multiplayer in both Morrowind and Oblivion, and nothing has been done to satisfy this. I understand, it’s not Bethesda’s obligation to fullfill such requests, but it would definitely make fans happy.
Furthermore, it’s not like there haven’t been any multiplayer supported games by Bethesda before.
Well, as long as it doesn’t suck…
Roleplaying is not (only) good graphics and realism. I hear a lot of people compare Oblivion with a FPS that has slight RPG elements, and to some extend I have to agree. I hope the devs takes their time to make something really special out of this. The Eye-candy alone does not convince me yet.
He didn’t answer the location question. Otherwise, I now regard this game as a MUST HAVE.
Something to say?
Some dialog or NPC reactions??? Cmon
