What We’re Playing…Soaking Wet

Given that the rain shows no signs of stopping, looks like we’ll all have plenty of quality “inside time” for gaming. Here’s what we’re playing:

Craig Lafferty, Producer:  GTA IV, Fallout 3

Michael Lattanzia, QA: Age of Conan Beta, Grand Theft Auto 4, The World Ends With You, Hellgate: London

Orin Tresnjak, Graphics Programmer: The World Ends With You, Puzzle Quest.  Maybe some Mario Kart Wii.

Ashley Cheng: GTA IV, Fallout 3

Alan Nanes, Designer: GTA IV (Xbox360), Need for Speed Prostreet (Xbox360) & Endless Ocean (Wii) with my kids

Nate Ellis, QA: GTA IV, Persona 3 FES, Okami, The World Ends With You and WoW.

Pete Hines: Fallout 3, CoD4, Rock Band (if I ever get around to setting it up), Company of Heroes, Mario and Sonic Olympics, Disgaea

Daryl Brigner, Level Designer: GTA IV still

Matt Grandstaff: Fallout 3 demo — over and over again (edit: Let me clarify that Matt is playing the original E3 demo we showed to the press over and over again as part of a trip to show the game to retail folks…he is not playing an actual demo, because there isn’t one and won’t ever be one. –Pete)

Rafael Vargas, Artist: GTA IV, FIFA ‘08

Mike McGinn, QA: The World Ends With You. Buy this game guys, I need to level up my Burning Cherry — oh god that sounds wrong

Aaron Mitschelen, QA:  Persona 3: FES, LotRO, Dynasty Warriors 6

Emil Pagliarulo: Lord of the Rings Online, GTA IV, Age of Conan Beta

Fred Zeleny, +3 Pants of Fanciness: Rondo of Swords, The World Ends With You, Everyday Shooter (yay, Steam!), and of course, Fallout 3.

With all these people playing The World Ends With You… we need to get together for some mingle experience!

Guys, i am really sorry for my question here but i want to know..

I can’t see any global dynamic shadows in all currently available screenshots of Fallout 3 (example: http://www.ag.ru/screenshots/fallout_3/206495)

How can that be for modern game? There is shadow maps, SSAO, SSIL, etc. I hope you surely will integrate some advanced shading technics, will you?

Sorry and thanks for patience :)

thats exactly what I’d being doing :) :)

Shame The World Ends With You doesn’t have wifi capabilities over the net. Makes it tricky to get a completed game…

I’d probably just be licking the screen and already be statisfied.

Still playing Sacred 1 and it’s expansion. :)

Ha ha :D Thanks for the..tip :D

As for what am playing mostly OBLIVION of late with all the cool armor mods and really weird dungeon mods that have come out the past months. One weird and original dungeon mod is “Pizz Scary Castle and FFXII Sword 1.0″ Talk about pretty freaky and occultish plus the castle looks alot like a ruined version of Castle Sentinel from TES 2 DAGGERFALL.

Decided to play God of War:COO on God. Also got Age of Empires III that I’m going to play a bit.

The sims 2… The Godfather(currently taking out the other gang compounds) And… Watching Diamond Daydream
(The Japanese ver.)

For me, it’s Morrowind and Oblivion all the way! And maybe replaying some of the old Halo games and the Darkness (not sure if they’re by Bethesda, I know Halo isn’t, it’s by Bungie, right?) I’m really having fun of exploring Oblivion, I love Ayleid ruins! But I hate the traps. Anyone recommend a trap-free one?
