  • The Art of Fallout 3: a hardcover book, which features never-before-seen concept art and commentary from Bethesda Game Studios artists
  • The Making of Fallout 3: This DVD includes an inside look at Bethesda Game Studios and the team behind Fallout 3

We’ll be sharing more details on the Collector’s Edition in the near future. Stay tuned for more information.

Will be getting this!

Any news on whether the UK (and other countries for that matter) will get exactly the same as in the US Collector’s Edition?

As the the press release states, the CE is getting a worldwide release, so we’re not just referring to the contents for North America.

As mentioned, we’ll have more details on the Collector’s Edition in time.

I’d already pre-ordered/pre-payed through Gamestop… Guess I better swing by and upgrade my order.

You had me at “bobble-head”.

Excellent, thanks!

More details is a good idea

I would like to have soundtrack as well..and maybe some map of the world..but I will buy it anyway, it is Fallout afterall.

Thanks for the info gstaff. Any possible prediction about the price? Something similar like the one for Oblivion CE?

Will the making of documentary be more in depth than Oblivion’s? I thought Oblivion’s, while interesting, was a little light on details.

i want to pre order this game now!

Seriously, does every game come with a collectors edition nowadays? Bullllllll. If the game’s good, it doesn’t need a collectors edition, it will speak for itself.

but.. Where is the SOUNDTRACK? :((((((

It is a little early for pre-ordering. :)

I’m already planning to get Fallout 3 when its out, but getting the CE would depend on its price. Having the soundtrack would be nice too.

Clint, I think the CE is for people who collect the game series, for example TES I-IV there may be people who love the games and collect them all, and therefore the CE is there for that reason, IMO the CE is in no way a product to make people think that the game’s good.

Ohhh Crap! I didn’t even think about preordering?

Ah yes, because info about the collector’s edition is what people have really been waiting for

Still rolling my eyes here, G.

But you still don’t need any of this stuff. It won’t be valuable in any way in the future since it;s being mass produced. It’s a money grab, plain and simple. Every company is doing it nowadays.

@ Clint. And you say that the Oblivion CE was not worth it? A map and a coin for 5$, that is surely worth it. But it depends on how do you see at the games. For me, I always buy the special editions (if they exist).

For example, the WoW BattleChest is amazing edition. Two games, a guess pass, two manuals, two game guides and a nice looking box. Certainly worth the cash.

Oh, and one more line item for the PC CE…Construction Set. hehehe.

Something to say?
